LookDev does not appear after installation

Confirm that the package matches your Maya version, run Install / Repair again, restart Maya and check that the LookDev shelf was created in the Maya user preferences folder.

V-Ray lights or HDRI application fail

Open Maya Render Settings and confirm that V-Ray for Maya is installed and loaded. LookDev cannot create the expected V-Ray nodes when the renderer plug-in is unavailable.

HDRI thumbnails are missing or slow

Allow the first scan to complete, then use Settings to inspect or clear the thumbnail cache if files remain stale. Avoid scanning an entire drive when a smaller HDRI root folder is available.

Poly Haven does not load or download

Check the network connection and the configured Poly Haven download folder. Make sure the destination exists and is writable.

Preparing a support report

Include the LookDev build, Maya version, V-Ray version, Windows version, the exact action that failed and the relevant Maya Script Editor or LookDev debug output.
